Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpenter / Construction Worker with at least 1 year of hands-on carpentry experience in a construction setting. This role involves working on a variety of job sites, assisting with framing, installation, and general construction tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic to intermediate carpentry work, including framing, measuring, cutting, and installation
- Read and accurately use a tape measure for layout and material cuts
- Assist with construction projects from start to finish, following plans and instructions
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures on site
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience in a construction environment
- Ability to consistently lift and carry 50 lbs
- Proficient in reading and using a tape measure
- Must have reliable transportation (truck required)
- Must provide own tools necessary for the job
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with residential or commercial construction
- Familiarity with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read basic blueprints or construction drawings
Work Environment
- Outdoor and indoor construction sites
- Physically demanding work including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- May require early mornings, overtime, or occasional weekends depending on project needs
